How long have you been gardening? About 8 or 9 years

How long have you been at the Eastwick Community Garden? The same

Who taught you how to garden? Reading, learn himself, and every year gets better and better and better.

What do you do with the food you grow? He gives 50% away to the poor people. Not too much because, you know, that’s a lot of people. He gives a little bit to everyone.

Any advice for young gardeners? Start with the ground, make the ground good.

What do you grow? Tomatoes, hot peppers, basil, escarole, onions.

How do you prevent squirrels? He’s never seen a squirrel in the garden but has traps for the mice and rats.
