Rebel Arrabiata
Today we made pasta arrabiata, which means “angry pasta” in Italian. We used habanero peppers from our garden to add heat to the dish.
Ingredients:
1 can stewed tomatoes
Olive oil
15 cherry tomatoes
2 tomatoes
10 habanero peppers
6 poblano peppers
Whole wheat pasta cooked according to package directions
2 large onions
4 garlic cloves
Salt and pepper to taste
Mozzarella cheese
Parmesan cheese
Sautee onions and garlic with olive oil in a skillet for ten minutes.
Habanero and poblano peppers from our garden
Add peppers, cherry tomatoes, and diced fresh tomatoes. Let simmer for 15 minutes. Add stewed tomatoes to a pot and heat over low flame for ten minutes.

Add sauteed ingredients to the pot.
Allow to simmer while you cook the pasta. Add cooked pasta to the sauce, mix, and let simmer for 5-10 minutes.
Add mozzarella, parmesan, salt and pepper. Enjoy!
